Government, by the close of this year, will see to the construction of twenty-one (21) technical and vocational training centres across the country to enhance efforts towards improving Technical and Vocational Education and Training.
This was announced by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Saturday at the 109th anniversary of Adisadel College in Cape Coast.
He also mentioned that as a means to enable young Ghanaians acquire world class skills that will be globally competitive, government is determined to demystify Science, Mathematics and Technology by the construction of ten (10) Science Engineering, Technology and Mathematics centers across the country. These facilities, he noted, will provide support for the introduction of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) into Basic Education.
President Akufo-Addo further assured that he would see to the completion of all GETFUND Projects at Adisadel College with a promise to donate a bus to the school to enhance its activities.
